We are excited that the person responsible for the vandalism and theft at our school was arrested, and most important 17 of our iPads will be returned to us. I plan to deliver flowers and a thank you to the pawn shop in Salem that called me the moment they discovered “Scotts Mills School” engraved in the back of the ipads. The owner called about 3 times in about a 15 minute time period to keep me updated on what was happening there.

I appreciate the work of Marion County Sherriff’s office and Silverton PD who were both quick to respond, and have moved quickly with helping to solve this crime.

Most of all, a great staff here at SM school who pitched in to do whatever needed to be done to clean up glass, track ipads to Seattle, field parent questions/concerns, and so much more! Thank you for all you do!
